Pretty cool how they just cut it in half:
Noticed that the cut is staggered from the top and bottom. Makes sense since you don't want the cut to line up for structural reasons.
Also, the Towncar version doesn't have luxury items such as heated steering wheel, mirrors, cooled seats etc. so there's no load on the electrical systems from the extra lights and entertainment systems that's added on. Maybe the non-stretch, livery version of the Towncar still have the OEM luxury items.

I actually just passed two of these on the highway tonight. I was heading south on 39 and they were heading north on 39.

I saw a MKT Towncar tonight (not a limo)
it's pretty big. looks neat too

I really want to know how accurate the calendar of work is in that video. It seems to tale a while to do some pretty simple tasks.

Wait.. so this MKT Town Car is actually designed by Ford to be stretchable by these limo companies?
If that is the case, then Ford knows what they are doing (to keep the Lincoln name in the limo business).
Maybe this fleet Town Car edition is a smart package- the heavy duty stuff helps with the stretch conversion, but also makes just the standard Town Car edition a good car service vehicle.
The rear seat area of the normal MKT does look very comfortable and roomy.
But it really needs a reclining adjustment.
