Neither is mine (unfortunately !)...they're owned by a couple very nice car guys nearby.
Double Snakeskin Green Vipers fresh off the track. If I am not mistaken, they only made 20 or 30 of those Snakeskin Green ACRs in 2010.

If I bought a rare color of a special car and my buddy bought the exact same car, I'd be kind of pissed.

Or maybe....you buy a rare color car and then one day you happen to meet another person with the same color... and become friends?
But if not, I agree with you...imitation may be "the sincerest form of flattery", but it can be a pain when you are trying to be somewhat original!!

Still, SRT-10 vs SRT-10 ACR. I still wouldn't be upset if I owned the ACR and a friend bought a "regular" SRT-10 in a similar paint scheme. The ACR is still better.
However, if I owned the green non-ACR and my friend bought a green ACR, I'd be a little bit upset about that...

A list of mods, all cars ever owned and something cribbed from a book, song and/or movie were all just here. Sorry you missed out on my unique, snowflake-like individuality.

That's always cool when it happens but I thought that it was limited to guys who bought Phoenix Yellow E46 M3's.
I don't think that the issue would lie with anyone "trying to be original." If that's the case, then they deserve to be imitated. It's more that someone sees a unique color on a somewhat unusual car and fall in love with it. Then someone see's that car and likes that guy/girl's style and decides to order the same thing. I guess that's more my point. If both car guys chose the colours independently, then sweet and more power to them. But again, what do I know about nice cars...
And I guess they are different. I'm not enough of a Viper aficionado to have seen the difference. My apologies.

That's it! I'm buying a Rosso Corsa F40 and moving to Colorado.

Do it. You would be #5 at the current count and I need another owner who actually drives theirs so I can compare notes for maintenance, parts, and such.
That video cracks me up.
By the way, when I had the 328 GTB, I encouraged all the car guys I know who liked mine to buy a late 328 GTB, which is rare as there are only about 50 in the US. I didn't care if they had the same car as I did because I knew it was the best choice of car for all kinds of reasons. And if your buddy is a car guy and "gets it" you want him to have the best car possible.
The comment I was making was that if someone bought a green Viper because it just struck them as cool and it's a particularly rare color (I have no idea if it is or not) and then some guy saw it and just had to have one just like it. Not for any reason other than "just because." That's all.
