I have a feeling you're going to get a whole lot of people who weren't born yet in this thread. I'm 31, and even then I was still just a figment of my parent's imagination when my dad was this age.

Bonus points if you have a picture of yourself in the car.
My dad was 34 on this date in 1984. I was pickin my nose as a 7 year old in the backseat of a 1982 Honda Accord and a 1974 AMC Hornet.

Google images: pretty much just like this

If I recall correctly, my dad had this at the time: 1983 BMW 320i.
It looked almost exactly like this one:

B1 Passat (aka Dasher) brought back from Germany by an army Sargent. Sadly no pictures but I can blame my VW addiction on it.

I wasn't born when my dad was 28. He was rolling around in some form of Lada or Zastava 750(aka Fiat 500).

I'm 47 and I would have been three at the time. That puts me in his '63 Nova. Naturally his was a 6 popper with an automatic. It's a handsome body style, so I'd love one now. His was white with a brown interior.
It looked much like this, but not as clean. They're just damn handsome cars.

1970 Datsun 510 (4-door automatic) - horrible car, rusted out in 2 years, but '71 would have been when it was still around ... Not this exact car but similar.
Or, 1966 Rambler Classic, 232 6 cylinder automatic. Not this, but similar, and mouse-coloured.

Same here.
My dad was either driving an AMC Javelin, or a late 60's Mustang V6. Not sure which at this point in his life.
The Javelin was his first car. Police officers became a little too familiar with that car if you know what I mean. So he ended up downgrading to a Mustang with a V6.

And though I didn't exist, my dad, in 1978 at the age of 31, had a 304/3spd purple AMC Gremlin (not actual car pictured).

I wasn't born when my Dad was 27. He was working out at sea aboard an oil tanker at that time. Back home in the Philippines, however, he had built his own jeep using whatever parts he laid his hands on during his college years in the mid-70s which looked somewhat like this:

That would have been one of these, but in a blue metallic.
He would also have been seen on one of these :
Yes, he still misses the motorcycle (last seen in 1978) but he has the newspaper clippings from when he was in a military stunt team.

He is shocked that people consider these even slightly desirable. It was called "the turd."
It was a daily in Michigan, so it probably wasn't as clean as this one.

Ok after some rough math when dad was my age we were cruising around in either this:
Or this:
That's me at the back looking like a goof
CSH, the red sedan was the last 6 seat Ford Falcon built before the major refresh. Amusingly it was actually built AFTER the new model production had started and only days before the new model was actually officially released. The reason was as it was a 6 seat sedan it was a special order and for some strange reason Ford decided to send it down the line mixed in with the new model.![]()

I was in a van just like this only grey and white. Dad got it from an auction at his work. Full window like this too, so it wasn't a Pedobear Van....
Dad had one of these....only silver.
And Mom had

My dad owned an Oldsmobile Delta 77. The thing was a tank and he used it to tow our camper and boat.

I wasn't around for another long while - but either one of these
Or one of these
Not sure exactly when he went from the '69 to the '71.

My dad was just getting out of the air cooled beetle phase then(they were getting harder to find with no rust then).
I think we would have been on our first Mk1 Rabbit. Probably around a 1976 or 77
