I know this sounds dumb, but can someone explain how to lower the rear coilover? Also how do I know how much lower I am making it? I wanna lower the back an extra 1/2 inch. Thanks!

Its trial and error basically. Easiest way that I have found to lower the rear is take the spring out and just twist the collar down that sits on the perch. I think you would have to twist it down like 7 collars for 1/2in

Make sure you measure the threads left before moving on to the other side!

Firstly, the rear springs are not coilovers. Secondly, I normally adjust twice the height that I want it to go down. For example, I want to drop it a 1/4" then I spin everything down a 1/2". But its really just trial and error. Pics after your get it adjusted!

Never thought of this. I always just do a random amount and then try to make the other side even. Learn something new everyday haha.

if you ask the vortex if you should lower it, the answer is yes
also, depending on what brand coils you have you may just want to take the rear perches out
I have raceland reds and this is how i sit without rear perches

i am in awe... actual answers! is this a mkiv change happening??

OP, it's def just trial and error, but if you have your car jacked up, might as well spin them all the way down because you're undoubtedly headed in that direction anyway
