Thread: Leaking water neck.

    ok the water neck off the drivers side of the head to the heater core is leaking, pretty bad, i have to put in water everyday now....dont know if the neck is broken or just the seal...

    what is the part called, anyone know? so i can grab a new one....

    Sounds like the hose flange. $1.12 at autohaus

    No problem. Mine leaks pretty bad too, along with the all the other flanges!

    Get thee to a wrecking yard, or ebay, and get one from a older diesel rabbit, as they are metal, and will not be prone to leakage ever again.

    Mine had distorted, and got out of round due to age and heat.
    Grounds, Grounds, Grounds Replace them things.
    Divorces, Great Coffee, and Electrics, all start with GOOD Grounds.

    Where are my grounds ?

    wow that is EXTREMELY cheap......

    agreed, prefer the metal ones
    although in contrast the bolt holes can crack...but so does plastic
    meh

    for a buck fiddy youre fixed for now
