    I was talking with Gary@Peloquin and he mentioned that there might be a fluid for the VC that reduces the friction needed for engagement.

    I was wondering if anyone knew of this, he said the call John@GermanTransaxle of America. I did this but John didn't recollect anything.

    if that fails, you can get the approriate fluid (i'd rather call it goo) in europe if you want to replace the it

    easier to just increase the fluid volume (i believe stock is 82%).

    the other thing to consider is that the clutch plates are worn, and wont engage properly regardless of fluid type/volume.

    Are the replacement plats still avail ?

    Wait, but German Transaxle is able to rebuild VC's, using an OEM fluid replacement. I had them do a couple a few years back. Do they still offer that service?
