So I bought an ecu at the junkyard..............help

hello. i bought a ecu at the junkyard. i have a obd1 vr6 donner car. im currently looking into the obd2 swap over into my corrado. ive looked on the websitehttp://corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5880&highlight=obd it says that those are the obd2 ecu's.
mine is 021 906 259 B (note it has a b instead of k)
is the obd2? i pulled it from a 1996 vr6 passat. i believe it was 96/06 month of manufacture.
any positive advice would be appreciated.
