This is my hood it looks like crap! I don't even want to wash my car because it looks worse when I do. Is there anything I can do other than repaint the car to fix this?

There not really chips in the paint because there smooth. This is irritating the crap out of me ...can't be proud of my car with paint like this. Please help.

I have never seen anything like that before. Since clay didn't help have you tried to polish the hood with a DA? I don't think you will get those out by hand.

I had calcified rust stains on my hood compliments of the parking garage at work. Clay removed some, but it didn't get the rest out. I hit it it with wolfgang's polish 3.0 on an orange pad and it did the trick. It might help. Can you try and take a better picture that is close up?

Its raining today ill get a pic as soon as I can.

I've used mothers carnuba and meguiars gold class wax I'm afraid to use any kind of rubbing compound or even the heavy duty compound because I don't want to ruin the clear coat and paint anymore than It already has. I've used a da on it with the carnuba and gold class but after a day or so it comes back.

    Clay the car then

    Using a Porter Cable

Lake Country yellow pad with Meguiars M105 at speed setting 5.5. Work slow and do 6 section passes. M105 can be pain to remove sometimes so you might want to wet a microfiber to remove the haze.

    then

Lake Country white pad with Meguiars M205 drop speed to 4.5. Work slow and do 4-5 section passes.

Top with your favorite sealer or carnuba.

If that doesn't do the trick... time for respray

DA and Meg's 105 should work plus it'll help with the swirls in the clear coat. Let us know how it turn out.
