A few weeks ago I had a Milltek exhaust put on my Golf R. I wasn't too happy with the factory finish on the tips so I emailed Tom at Espo's to get them re-done in a gloss black finish that would match the Golf R's rear valance. I sent the tips out and had them back a few days later and the end result was exactly what I was looking for. The exhaust looks much more finished and blends perfectly with the car.

another happy customer of Espo's here too
just curious, did Tom put any special additive into the paint? I would imagine under heavy load, the EGT at the tailpipe would be a few hundred degrees, around the curing point of the powdercoating

Nope regular powder exhaust tips don't get that hot. Only have to worry on rear mounted engines because of the exhaust being just a foot or two of pipe!![]()
