I changed all 9 solenoids about 9 months ago with the kit from Cobra Trans. It solved my no reverse and hard 1-2 shift. It's been running great since. Two days ago I changed the oil, not sure if it's related to my latest issue or not, I drove the Jetta for a few miles then it started shifting hard in all gears. The hardest shift is from 2-3...enough to jolt the whole car. The next day it started missing really bad when I would put it in gear. I cleaned the MAF and checked for vacuum leaks. I found a cracked vacuum hose off of the master cylinder and fixed that. I don't think it was leaking, but needed fixed.
The latest codes I get when I scan are 18032, 16684, 16687, 16688 & 16686. Looks like misfires and maybe a TCM code? I am not sure if the miss is associated with the shifting because it didn't show up immediately with the shifting issue. Any help or leads is appreciated.

So I replaced the MAF and got rid of engine miss and all codes but one. I still have harsh shifts and the Vag code I get from scanning the trans is: "00349 - Solenoid Valve 10 (N283) 30-10- Open or Short to B+ - Intermittent". I replaced all the solenoids less than a year ago. Unfortunately, I didn't keep the old solenoids so I can't just swap out N283 to see. I am hesitant in buying N283 from Cobra if the one they sold me less than a year ago has already failed. Advice, please on a better place to buy N283, or if you have had or heard of this issue.
Jetta been down over a month...need it running soon with high gas prices. Thanks for the help!

I found my problem. The wire connected to the N283 solenoid came loose. Discovered when I got inside the pan...yeah.
