      Hello everyone:

      Finally in stock!!!

Brand New Genuine OEM VW Emblem Rear View Camera Kit with first in the market full Plug N Play Wire Harness (Does not require cutting or adding connectors), and OEM VW Drain Tube.

Fits All MKVI 2010-2013 Golf/Gti/R Hatchbacks. Requires Either RCD-510 with Video In (Not all of the RCD-510's have this option) or
RNS-315 or RNS-510 (Both Navigation units are fully compatible. RNS-510 has much larger screen).

Kit comes ready to install. Picture shows Protective foil, which is used from the manufacturer to protect the chrome finish of the emblem. I have peeled back the foil to show true shiny part of the emblem.

Price for each kit is $537.00 + Shipping

      Shipping costs:
      USA - $10.00
      Canada - $21.00

      Cheers,

Peter is on vacation until the 17th, but I know he just got a shipment of RVCs just before he left, so when he gets back he should be able to hook you up

With some modification it will work just fine.

The rear wiper has to be modified from the inside to allow larger emblem to fit. But nothing too complicated.

It has been done few times.

how can I tell if my rns510 will work with this? when I put my shifter down and into reverse the rns510 screen goes black like it has a feed for it.

how easy is this to install? and do I run a line to the rns510?

It's easy, but time consuming and you need to be careful with the plastics. You'll pretty much need to remove all the plastic on the hatch, the driver side C pillar, and the lower side. The harness is really nice as it's Plug N Play for everything but the Reverse light. You'll run the Coaxial video feed from the HU to the rear of the car. At the same time, you'll run the constant power from the rear to the front. I used an Add-a-Fuse to add in the Constant 12V+. Hardest part is getting the 2 wires through the rubber protector between the rear and the hatch. Once you remove that rubber piece from the hatch, make sure you protect the wiring from the hatch as it's sharp metal. I would advise wrapping the wires and covering the opening with tape so it doesn't rub against the sharp edge as you try to work the 2 wires through it.

Where do yellow and black wires should go? I got the red one to the fuse box. I feel so dumb, even with diy guide I have no idea

Yellow is Reverse trigger wire. (Pin #3 on the inner tail light)
Black is ground. (Top of hatch, under the grounding screw)
