Does anyone know what the approximate power output of a Stage 2 tune would be with full bolt-ons (3" turbo back, TIP, intake, boost hose kit, etc)? APR doesn't really have any information on their page about it beyond that the required parts are a 2.5 or 3" DP.

Pretty much the same as other stage 2 tunes. And i believe it says on their site. I have apr stage 2 and no complaints. But i would go frankenturbo or bigger if i were to do it again.

btw i see you have apr stage 1. you should be able to upgrade for free.

What's stupid about it exactly? I'm seeking information not readily available and curious to know if its worth my while to upgrade. I read somewhere that someone who upgraded actually felt a decrease in performance. I'd just like more info on what Stage 2 offers. Thanks.

the power is more related to the supporting mods rather than the tune

How is it that even people who have purchased APR Stage 1 or Stage 2 don't understand that Stage 2 from them is the same exact tune with a post-cat O2 sensor CEL delete?

Also have to love how a 2.0 FSI thread got posted up as a response. What the hell is going on in here lately?

Interesting, just a CEL delete for running catless, that's interesting info. Thank you for that. Pretty much exactly what I wanted to know. I still plan on running with a cat so it sounds like upgrading to Stage 2 is just a waste of my time. Now I've also seen people mention Stage 2+, yet APR makes no mention of this on their page either. Is this a real thing, and does it actually have a new tune?

There is no solid answer on how much power "your" engine will produce. When companies tune a car to use for their testing they usually make sure they are in perfect running shape and low miles. Parts wear out and engines lose power over time. So if a company says there tune will produce 50 more up over stock. Don t be surprised if your not even close. I find it amusing that people buy cars with over 100k on them and then want to have them tuned and throw power at them. Then 6 months later they complain about the companies tune acting up.

I'm not looking for someone to tell me what my car will put down. I am looking for some results from other owners with similar setups just to gather some information for my own appeasement.

That's my point. Someone could say theirs put down 230hp. Doesn't mean that's what yours would be. You could have the same bolt ons and maybe only make 200hp. Plus all the companies that offer software have expected numbers listed.

That is precisely what you asked for.......

If you want a reference point...
I can tell you that my unitronic stg1+ will run a APR stg2 tune anyday of the week, based on same climate conditions, bolt ons, engine wear, tire size/type/model, weight of car, etc.

As to the guy that said APR has figures on their site for all their tunes... Please provide a link, I surely can't find that info.

      Seriously.... SMDB.

And hence, all of these posts later and no one has given a reasonable response to my request.

Just one dyno would be nice to look at from a stage 2 customer... I know there's got to be one floating around the Vortex somewhere.

Expect 190-205whp. There is dynos on YouTube. Please search.

People are hating on you because you are not putting the effort in to search.

why don't you ask the shop that tuned your car the first time? this way your only asking 1 person a stupid question instead of hundreds. they have the output on their website man search it. your making yourself look bad by asking stuff like this.

Lets start off with the thread title "APR Stage 2 Tune - How much power?"

You are making a complete fool out of yourself...

Apparently you are a dense ass retard. Again, never asked what MY car would make with these adjustments. Wanting to know what is common / expected to see.

Jesus, you people are ****in' sad around this bitch.

And hence, all of these posts later and no one has given a reasonable response to my request.
Replica wheels are like fake boobs. They look good on the outside, but when it comes to quality, Nothing beats the real thing.

OP your burning bridges by calling people names for giving you honest answers. I can make up an answer to you'll push 300WHP there you happy? Why dont you go with stage 7 and get 800WHP? its the best you can do other than going stage 8 or 9. Kids these days have no respect.
