Find water in my passenger footwell of my GOLF MK3.
Checked to find drain holes...I can't find....Anyone could help me ? Could you post any picture ?
What drain holes?? Welded over?? Huh? This isn't a Jeep you know. The only drain holes I know of are for the sunroof, and they're in the door jamb, and they're little rubber tubes that hang out.if you cant find any drain holes..its prob been welded over..they usaslly rust there anyways.

there are "drain" holes in the floors of Mk3's. When people fix the floors after they rust often times they weld them closed because they are more of a joke than they are useful.
the other thinkg could be the rain tray. if the end "flap" is not lined up correctly all rain water will pour into the fresh water intake and come out from around the blower motor.

In my old GOLF MK2 there were rubber tubes to drain water above the wheels, in my MK3 in can't find any RUBBER TUBES....I checked everywhere...above the wheels, in the door...I can't find....Someone has a picture of DRAINING HOLES for a Golf MK3 ?
I know there are RUBBER CAPS in the floor...one for the driver and one for the passenger....
I take off the one passenger side. So water can go out of the car. My problem is to avoid water to enter....in the vehicle...but I can't understand where it comes from....Probably may be drain holes not doing their job.
