Being an enthusiast myself, my favorite time of the year is around the corner. Warm weather and tons of car related things to get done!

Sit back for a few minutes. Let me tell you a little about myself....

I've always enjoyed working with my hands from the moment I first picked up a tool when I was a kid. Growing up, Friends and family always told me to go to school for it and get into a great career in the automotive industry as I had a natural talent. I'd do very well they said. Never happened. Didn't want to lose the joy and passion I had working on cars as a hobby. Hobbies turned into careers sometimes isn't the best idea. You lose interest sometimes. I've always enjoyed working on my own cars. Swaps, wiring, diagnostics, transmission work, etc.

Worked in shops a while back and jumped on a great opportunity to work in IT making great money. Fast forward a bunch of years, a wife, kids and different career choices, I'm going back to school for Automotive to get into the field the right way and put this skill to great use.

If you or anyone you know needs someone to take a look at their car for diagnosis purposes, fix something, have something installed, need someone to yell to about their car problems, I'M THAT GUY If you can't come to me, I can come to you.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

      Excellent work. Reasonable fees.

      Thanks for your interest!

Turns out that he happened to have all the parts available from doing a VR swap into someone else's car and was willing and eager to perform all the work for me. Drove to his house, tossed him the keys, and that was that. Entrusted a stranger to take care of my car and am extremely glad I trusted Eddie. He came through in every possible way. When I got the car back, everything went well and words can't express how satisfied and grateful I am for the quality of his work. No corners were cut and he did everything right. My car would have been parted and scrapped if it wasn't for him (and only him) doing the work. He was also always willing to help with any questions or concerns I had along the way and is an all-around standup guy. He's been around for a while and he knows his stuff. It doesn't even have to be just VWs either. Extremely highly recommended. Thanks Eddie. I really can't thank you enough.

Thanks for the positive feedback, Dan

I'm glad i helped you find the interest in your car once again. You've had that Jetta for too long to justify scrapping it due to a automatic tranny disappointment. Hope your enjoying actually driving the car now

Anyone interested in having some quality work done at a reasonable price or have any questions, feel free to get in contact with me.

PM or you can email me.

i still have to get the parts ordered, but by the end of the summer I'm looking to do the following:

      b5.5 v6 fwd auto/tip passat

-trans fluid flush/fill w/ new filter and pan,
      -upper control arms,
-full timing belt service (belts, tensioners, pulleys, waterpump, thermostat, cct gaskets, etc.)
      -new brake & steering fluids.

i was planning on doing most of the work myself, but would be interested in having you lend a hand if you have a better spot to do the work. working on the side of the street by my apt in Astoria isn't ideal, but i've done it for minor things.

timing belt work will happen last when I hit 150k. would like to get upper control arms and all fluids done within the next month or so.

shoot me a PM on what you'd want for the work if you provide the garage/workplace, but we handle the labor together. i only have the basic tools, but if we have 2 sets of the right stuff, then things like the controls arms can be done quickly if we each take a side to do at the same time.

Eddie got my car running again in no time. He had it running better than before, he even gave the car a thorough inspection and told me what needed to be addressed maintenance wise.

Thanks again bro- the only other person to touch my car besides me

I've toyed the idea but too many headaches associated. Almost done with this school program too which is tieing up my schedule more than I'd like it to If all goes well, I'll be hopefully getting into a high end euro dealer ::crossfingers::

Mistery2G.. Thanks for the kind words. I take pride in working on other's cars when the end result means they'll be happier than before they brought it to me

I definitely don't miss the headaches. Main reason why i haven't opened another one. And ive had lucrative offers to open a shop. Im talking hefty investments. Even though the new biz going slow, i love what im doing now (clothing company). Im still doing small jobs though....which im about to put an end to.

      Hows the VRT running?

VRT is off the road again .Started blowing blue smoke so I redid the head and got new rings. Just a matter of having time to slap it together one weekend. But with school, kids, wife, and staying busy with side work, your own car can never be a priority LOL.

hey man, i've got a vr6 that i'm dying to get back on the road.

it won't crank, but all the lights on the dash come on. i think it has something to do with the alarm, ecu or ignition switch. i want to bypass the alarm just to rule that out, but i'm not good at soldering. if you're not too far from jersey let me know! i really need some help getting this car started.

I hear ya. Im in the same boat....minus school. Been busy helping my 2nd oldest apply for college, oldest finding a culinary school close by, helping the Mrs. do school shopping for the 2 youngest, doing some extensive house work AND try and fix my VRT (long story)...all on a bad back. The biggest blow was loosing my uncle a month ago. Car sh*t isn't even a priority atm....unless its putting money in my pocket.
