Hi, I just bought a 2013 vw passat b7 with TDI motor and I can't find any modifications like ecu, exhaust or intake for for it, any ideas or info would be appreciated.

It is brand new. It takes some time for them to come up with parts for new vehicles. Malone and rocketchip have tunes for the engine and dsg. Playing with the exhaust and intake will be difficult due to emissions.

Hey David, I have the same tdi sel premium in black with the xzilon treatment. My vw dealer is an APR dealer and if I do APR upgrades it won't void the warranties. But waiting sucks, headlight from kraftig tuning looks cool but they aren't replying to my e-mail. What is that hex something your talking about?

I don't recommend messing with the exhaust or stock intake. Although, you could start with the ecu tune, considering there are quite a few vendors around. APR is fairly new to TDI tunes compared to other vendors so do a little researching before you actually go with APR.

It is a diagnostic tool for VW's. Probably the best thing around IMHO.

      2. Get a VCDS unit for tayloring your car
      3. AWE has an exhaust, Malone does a tune, and dont waste your money on a intake.

      Thats all

AFE has an exhaust and intake that fits the TDI. I have both, but haven't installed them yet. APR has no tune for the TDI motor in our car. According to APR when I talked to them earlier this week, they have no ETA and are not currently working on it.

Malone and RocketChip have tunes for our car.

I didn't realize the DSG tune was required for the performance tune. So for Stage 1 you looking at $998 for 20hp and 50ftlbs.

Actually, APR could have a tune for the car but from what they told me not all the Passat ECus are compatible. You need to go to an authorize APR dealer and have them read the files and send it to APR to see if they can tune it. That is what i go from an e-mail from GOAPR headquarters.
