So i'm at 86k what i'm unsure about is the front trans/transfer housing which drain do I drain? and how much and how much does she take? redline MT90 still good or some thing better now?

      what about the rear diff?

I have done the haldex 2 times now but not the gear fluids them self

I have MT 90 in my trans.

i just did my rear diff. last weekend. I used royal purple 75w/90. about 1.5 quarts to fill it. you will need a 17mm allen wrench, and i had to cut mine down (as most do) to fit past the rear subframe parts. once you have the tool that works its as easy as doing the trans. i went a step further and got a transfer pump from autozone to pull from the bottle and push into the diff. very little mess this way.

I'm about to do mine soon as well. Rear dif im going with 75w-90. Trans/Bevel box stock fluid or mt90.

My question is, does the front dif share the same fluid as the trans? i saw that on another post somewhere.

How fluid for all of them? I need to do both diffs and the trans so id like to know how much fluid to order.

What do people prefer Royal Purple, Mobil 1, any others?

I have heard that the bevel box shares with the trans. it has a seperate drain plug to get all the fluid out, i did not know this when i did my trans with MT 90 so i have a slight mix of old and new till the next time i get in there.

i remember buying 3 quarts for the trans and 2 for the rear.

i usually prefer Redline products, but in a pinch when i need to source locally i will look for royal purple first, then mobil 1 if its my last option.

Didn't get to do mine due to that damn! 16mm xzn just waiting on the tool

redline MTL or MT90 us MTL in cold places if you like but may be to thin for most people but only use GL4 in trans and you want any GL5 in your diff!

I just bought a $4 pump that fits on quart bottles to pump in the fluid. Did rear diff which took about 1.75quarts and the trans/front diff which was about 2.5 quarts, maybe a little more but less than 3 quarts
