MKIII Golf is not starting and spitting codes indicating that the crank position sensor is bad. I can find it, just behind the oil filter, but am having a hell of a time getting it out. The hex bold holding it in seems to be blocked by the motor mount, denying me any easy access to it. I would really appreciate some tips/pointers on the easiest way to swap this out so I can stop picking my step daughter up from work at 2AM. Thanks!
don't take my advice on a 2.0 .. . I have no experience with them other than taking them out and throwing them in the garbage.. . I was talking about vr6.. .
