Unitronic 2.0 TSI Cold Air Intake System

Unitronic is pleased to present its Cold Air Intake System for the 2.0L TSI engine. With extensive background in engineering the finest in Performance Software, Unitronic developed an intake system that maximizes performance, while maintaining important OEM specifications and parameters relating to Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, as a result of its sensitivity on this platform.

      How to Order
To place your order, please contact your Authorized Unitronic Dealer or if you’re unable to locate an Authorized Dealer in your area, CLICK HERE to checkout on our secure online store!

Unitronic’s Cold Air Intake System increases air flow to your turbo by over 30%, as measured on a Superflow SF-600 Flow Bench, compared to the OEM intake and improves throttle response, while also decreasing air intake temperatures and turbo lag.

Unitronic's 2.0 TSI Cold Air Intake is a complete kit, replacing your entire intake system from the airbox to the compressor inlet.

Included in all Unitronic Intake Systems is a 3" Dry Air Filter. A Dry Filter was chosen to eliminate any oil residue affecting the MAF sensor.

Unitronic 2.0 TSI Cold Air Intake installed on our Audi A3 Project Car.

Yes, our Cold Air Intake for the 1.8 TSI Gen3 found in the 2014+ Jetta is available HERE. It's not listed here, as this thread is in the MK6 Golf/GTI forum, so we purposed it to relate appropriately.

Do you know when you will have them back in stock? It stays you are out online.

It also says there is a price difference depending on config. What are the different options?

These intakes will be back in stock very shortly, but they are selling fast, so if you're interested, please get an order in through one of our Authorized Dealers, as I suspect we'll be sold out again once they arrive back in stock. They are a very hot seller. The option is available for clients who have secondary air injection and need the corresponding secondary air injection breather filter. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I'm pretty new at modding VW's but what I do know about air intakes is, an open filter will suck in significantly more hot air from the engine bay, rather than a closed box air filter system

Bought a Unitronic intake last year and had it shipped all the way over to Australia. It's a well designed intake that fits well and has good quality silicone hoses etc. It's illegal to run an open air filter here in Australia, so i mated my intake up to a carbon fiber airbox.

I have since added the Unitronic DV relocation kit too (wasn't fitted when i took these photos).

      hey john.

can you tell me why unitronic decided to go with silicon for the elbow piece into the filter and not the powdercoated aluminum? just curious...

I'm concerned about air filtration. Do you have a side-by-side comparison of OEM vs. the dry filter in this system re: size of particulate filtration?

16 days without an answer. I guess the answer is "No."

Our sincerest apologies on the timely reply. No, we do not have a side-by-side comparison showing particulate filtration to share, I'm very sorry.

Hey guys, name's Jason. I'm brand new to this turbo stuff. I've owned 4 different gti's in the past but all were na motors. How do I know which 2.0T I have. CCTA/CBFA, Gen1 2 or 3? Seriously? I'm stupid when it comes to this. I just bought the 2014 GTI Driver's Edition in 6spd manual used with 22,000 miles. Love the car and looking forward to modding it. Just wanna make sure I get the right parts lol. Any help is appreciated. I've scoured the forums for this info with no luck. If you know a link to a thread that has this info it'd be much appreciated.

If you go into the trunk/hatch and lift up the mat to review the spare tire, on the driver's side frame rail, there will be a sticker with an "Engine Co." marking on it. It will read CCT, CBF, etc. That is your engine code. Alternatively, you can email me your VIN to john [at] unitronic [dot] ca, and I can provide you with the engine code based on the VIN. There's also a sticker on the timing chain cover of the engine that has the engine code stamped on it.
