Hello,
So as you may or may not know, one of our own, Colin Runnion, has just been diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. Colin has been part of the VW community for many years taking his white MK3 Golf Sport to support local meets and shows such as Oktoberfest and Wuste. Some of us know him on a very personal level, and others may know him as the guy with the horse-head, but no matter how you know may (or may not) know him, now is the time to step up, come together, and actually help out a fellow dubber in need.
I've known Colin for several years now, and he is not only super fun guy to be around, but he is always willing to help out someone in need. I haven't talked to him in a year or so, and I hate that this is the state he is in after not being in contact with him for so long.
Anything (thoughts, prayers, donations) you can send Colin is greatly appreciated. Below is a link to the page accepting the donations for Colin. Also, I know some of you guys hold pretty big monthly meets. It would be pretty cool if you guys could maybe set up some kind of fund-raiser at your spot to help raise some money. If you need any help setting up some kind of fund-raiser, send me a pm, and I'll see what I can do. Just a thought.
