I want to share this fun with you. I have been going to this event now for the last few years. Its a lot of fun. You get to drift your car on snow. Eh? Whats that? You say you can already do that and not have to pay anyone. Hmm. Sure, but can do you have an instructor riding along side of you helping you get better at holding the drift. Or learning to go smoother in a winter autoX?.. Yeah, I did not think so. Do you have a loved one you would like to have drive better? You know, the one. The other occasional driver of your ride. The one who will be very sorry to watch you dent your car in that busy traffic jam on that snowy day. Or how about coming to play in the snow where no cop is going to show up while you try to snow drift the local grocery lot just after snow fall.
Do you have some friends you would like to see learn to control their car better on the race track during a HPDE event? Driving in snow at slow speeds letting the rear hang out is hugely safer than learning to get the car loose on a track. A gentle bump in snow is vastly different than smashing up into a wall on track. Particularly when you want to drive the same car home from a track day.
Come up, join us, see what fun you can have at 19 mph.
