Video has me interested, but we've seen how the franchise has been dealt with before. Still, looks promising......

I think a franchise like Alien really needs a game with tons of atmosphere, puzzles, and horror. A few gun fights here and there are cool, but they don't need to be central to the core game dynamic. Kind of like, you know, the movies!

like robocop, aliens was a movie that had so many iconic things and ideas that could translate into an absolute masterpiece of a video game.

aliens has the potential to be as good as any survival horror game ever. the dark ship, steam, radar blips, and those aliens.

my hopes aren't high, but i was glad to see them choose a survival horror vibe instead of go go action. the player should barely want to move in a good aliens game. you should be scared **** less the whole time or it's worthless.

Yeah I agree ^. Emphasize the atmosphere and embrace its scary emptiness.

Aliens vs Predator 2 for PC was amazing for its time. Absolutely nailed the atmosphere.

Blows my mind nobody has been able to replicate it in the last few Aliens/AVP games. Give it to the makers of Dead Space.

Single player was fkn awesome! I'm not a big co-op player so can't speak for that. Probably one of my favorite AVP (I know I'm adding P) was AVP for Jaguar. Admittedly I was probably the only person in N.America to own it.
