I use to play this game all the time, but a bunch of people started using cheats! I tried DL the newer version a few months ago, but it was limited to only a few players. I just downloaded the newer version. See you at the track!

haven't yet played the new one, but i was all over the old one, almost as bad as i'm on the TEX, ALL DAY EVERYDAY! got my new account d/l, now if i can pry myself away from here long enough to try it out!

I like this new version much better than the older ones. Just hearing the BOV and the NOS makes this game so much more fun to play. The only thing that really pisses me off is they got rid of the GTI! My car is running 11's but it should be faster. Any tips on launching my civic with mad HP?

I dont know if this is how you guys launch but I pull right up to the first green line and stop right on the line and put it in neutral. Then when the thing on the left switches to the two lane diagram I put it in 1st and dont push the gas. Then when the light turns to where you want it FLOOR IT it might take a second with a turbo. So, when I install my turbo, I have to floor it right when the second light just turns yellow.

Well I got my civic into the 9's with 509hp and a stock gear box. I then bought the "magic gearbox" but can barely break into the 10's. So one please school me on gear ratio's. I don't know poop!

in the game in drag racing your top speed isnt the name of the game, its who accelerates the fastest.
when you make a ratio higher, that is you make the number bigger and thus the gear lower, you accelerate faster, but lose top speed
converseley, making the gears smaller and thus taller, gives less accelertion but a higher top speed
what you need to do is find the optimum balance of speed and acceleration in each gear, and then you'll be able to run 8's like i am (as of today i average 8.4 in the civic and im builiding a 1000+ supra as we speak)
i love this game

ohh and id be glad to make a vortex team, if there are enough people interested who run good numbers.....im on a team now....da dousches, hehe, and all of us run low 8's so players beware!

I've been playing this game for the past week and its quite addictive But I can't get my Civic to run fast than 8.705et @ 155mph. I've got 519hp with a 200shot of NOS and I no matter what gear ratios I got it setup as I can't do better than 8.705 seconds :\ I'm wondering how there are some guys online with 600+ hp civics

there used to be a bug where u could stack mods...that is you could have 2 turbos or 2 superchargers etc
thats how some ppl have soo much power, but thats suppossed to be taken care of soon by the mods

im realllly addicted to this game now, soo fun

and play with the ratios some more, im running 8.37 at best now in the civic and my supra now runs 8.035 at best..so far

How much HP does your civic dyno at? I have all mods and can't squeeze more than 519hp.

civic runs i think at 522 or so, but thats cuza the gears i think...fully modded i ran 519hp as well, but that was before i got my gears perfect

Best time I got today playing with the gears: 8.669et I ran out of 6th gear just shy of the line, and may have been able to squeeze a bit more out of the car. I can't see myself running anything faster than 8.59 given all the perfect conditions. I don't know what those guys running in the 7s are doing to get so much more hp, may car is maxxed.

Is it just me or do they need a better server to handle the traffic? I've run 1 race and I've had it downloaded for a while now lol . Everytime I try it's overloaded with traffic... I don't really have the patience to sit around and keep trying I guess....

Ah it's a free game I wouldn't complain about the servers just play in the off hours. I suck pretty bad too...I'm just wondering what is the point of making you car fast since you are racing against you Et?

yeah i have had this game for maybe a week now.. and have tried about 150-200 times to connect at various times over the day, late night, early early am, and I have been able to connect 1 time so far

You know what's kind of crappy and I don't know if it's just me, but when you are staging, you can roll forward and then lay on the brakes. The car will continue to roll forward even with the brakes on full and Pre-stage... uh, ok. Then with the brakes still on full it rolls forward and stages. Wow, some really crappy brakes... but I guess it could be sort of a helper so staging would be easier. Except, even with the brakes still full on the car continues to roll And will even roll out of staging, redlight and foul. Is anyone else having the same problem?
