    Thread: Mk3 vr6 obd2 swap into mk2 help!!!

      I need help figuring out what problem I'm having with my swap I got everything bolted in have d8 to e2 jumped ground my seat belt wire for the starter interlock relay put a fuse in the alarm plug the car cranks over the fuel pump won't prime but after cranking engine over the fuel pump will prime then shut it sled off I've tried a different ignition an different starter relay I don't understand why I'm having this problem I've looked through vortex that's why I'm posting here now I'm getting fuel through the fuel line in just won't prime till after cranking the car over I'm running a mk2 tank an pump with a inline welbro any help would be appreciated

      Thats how it suppose to be. Make sure the feed is on the top on the rail and the feed is on the bottom.

      I'm pretty sure when I turn the car to acc it should prime an I have my feed to the top of the fuel rail an the return on the bottom to the blue house it's correct I'm pretty sure it shouldn't prime after I been cracking the engine

      Obd2 only primes when cranking.

      No that is not true you will hear it prime after you crank if the motor does not turn over. The ecu is working properly. Take the the fuel lines off and crank the car to see if fuel is coming out. If it is not coming out then you will have to switch the lines at the pump.

      Alright thanks still gotta figure out why my throttle body ain't doing the adaption or whatever it does for 10 seconds when you turn the key

      Check fuse 15

      All fuses fine I'm going to do some more research

      Make sure the 42 pin connector is locked in place.

      tried doin some research on this throttle body not aligning can't find anything an the plug is connected

      The throttle body aligned every time in the mk3 before I pulled and put into the mk2

      Take the neg and positive battery terms off the battery touch them together for 20 secs that should reset the ecu. Double check fuse 15

      Thanks for the help I got it running a couple hours ago an it aligns the throttle body now I can go to the next step of extending the harness
