    Thread: Workout apps

      I need an app with workouts broken out by muscle group, with the flexibility to add your own, as well as the ability to track progress. What are the better iphone options?

      Yeah that's what I'm doing now.. I just got done with some personal training sessions and like to mix in those workouts. The papers I have from that are getting messed up.

      Try "MYWOD" its geared around corssfit i guess, but i think it could work in your favor. I still sue it for my "REGULAR" gym activiteis

      I'm trying to imagine an app that wouldn't be cumbersome to play with during the workout. I used to keep a notebook at home, and maybe bring a scrap of paper to the gym if I was doing something complicated.

      the stronglifts 5x5 app is pretty easy if you're following that program at all.

      I could see the benefit of an app for a more complex program, undulating periodizaton, etc. I did stronglifts with a pen and paper.
