I do not really get out much anymore to live shows, almost too many here to keep track of and I really do not have a ton of people to go with as well, but I am going to see The Cure Saturday night at Royal Albert Hall, which should be fun, no opening act and rumors of them playing three 80s albums completely for a 3 hour show.

Kraftwerk last week; show was fawking amazing,
Pet Shop Boys this Tuesday; have a sneaking feeling it's gonna be pretty good too,
QoTSA in a couple weeks; Ditto. Can't wait for this one.

Have a chance to see Devo soon(they were the first concert I ever went to), but I just don't know how they're gonna sound w/o Bob or Alan.

Saw Buffett again (and unfortunately some rather large men in coconut bras) 2 Thursdays ago. More important was the rum, crawfish, shrimp, and chicken/pineapple kebabs in the RV park beforehand.

I saw Brit Floyd last Thursday (great show)
Saw Widespread Panic on Saturday (incredible show)
Seeing Dark Star Orchestra on Thursday
Seeing The Big Wu and Railroad Earth next Wednesday.

Great run of 4 shows in 2 weeks. I needed this. Hadn't seen any good shows for a while. WSP blew my frickin mind on Saturday. Outstanding show!!

Elton John a couple weeks ago. 1st show of the new tour. Don't let anyone tell you that he is getting old. It was a superb show. Each song was a performance as opposed to a cut and dried cover of a studio release.

Almost everything from the 70's-80's. A couple new songs which are actually very good and best of all, no Lion King.

I always wanted to see the Wu but it never works out.

Friday I caught Grimes, DJ Abilities, Brother Ali, and Atmosphere at Summerfest in Milwaukee. Had a wienershnitzel sammich at the Maders tent and drake big glasses of Lakefront beer all night on the cheap. Took the city bus back to Riverwest for $2.25 and were at my friends crib in less than a half hour. Sure beat the $15 can ride on the way there.-

Nice! That was a great show. He stopped to talk to me in the crowd before his set because he recognized my hoodie (another band HWM toured with). I was star struck ha ha.

We flew out to CO to see phillip phillips/ OAR at redrocks a few weeks ago. Add that venue to your bucket list.

      Mind blowing. Scenery, acoustics, legalized.....

Will see them again this weekend in Philly and DMB next weekend in Bristow, VA.

My buddy Mark is now in The Big Wu. I knew him from back in the day with a band called Down Lo out of Minneapolis.

This past winter we went down to Mexico to My Morning Jacket's One Big Holiday. 4 nights of music at an all inclusive resort. Flaming Lips played one night and MMJ played the three other nights. Best experience of my life time. So good that we are doing it again this winter.

I can't say enough good things about those guys. Seriously, they are really good. Make it happen next time you have a chance. You won't be disappointed.

Saw Soundgarden and NIN last night with Dillinger Escape Plan opening...

Soundgarden and NIN played a great mix of stuff and the show was fantastic. I didn't know much about the opener - I bit too screamy for my tastes, but they weren't too bad as far as openers go.

Saw Everclear, Fuel, Toadies and AHF. Toadies were awesome (much better than expected) and Fuel were great as always. Everclear...shortest set I've ever seen by a headliner. Also, how do you not play "Summerland" on the Summerland Tour?
