      Hi everyone,
I am obviously a noob, but have been a long time VW owner. Just bought an 08 R32, and I have been looking for the thunder bunny kit for it online with no success.

Anybody know where I can get this kit???

Also looking for a set of VMR V-710 if anyone is selling.

I will be selling the stock bumpers and skirts really cheap after I get the new kit on.
Thanks in advance for the help.

There are no photos. Just part numbers and prices. This is a very solid lead, but I really don't want to order the wrong thing. Especially at those prices. I hope I get more responses to this thread. I'm really having a tough time.

IIRC these parts are out of production.

If you find them for sale, BUY THEM. You may not get another chance.

I don't see how they can be out of production when they are also used on the Jetta TDI Cup edition cars. The problem is that all of the P/Ns are pre-painted AFAIK, and they aren't available in DBP so if you have a blue car you have to scuff and re-paint the pristine factory job.

I still really want this nose but can't bring myself to pay for it.

But the TDI Cup cars are all out of production as well, that's how.

I'm in South Carolina. And I hope to get this kit pretty soon. I don't mind having it painted as described above. I'm still looking into the Part #s

But if you have a TDI Cup, you need replacement parts after an accident? There hasn't been a sufficient amount of time for VW to stop production. For example, isn't VW still making R32 bumpers and those silver grills of ours?
In my opinion unless otherwise stated.

Don't quote me, but I remember hearing that there is some federal law stating a car manufacturer is required to carry/make part for a car for 10 years after release.

Yeah ive heard of that rule too, but im not sure of it being law. Maybe just general rule?

According to the TDI Club forums, this rule doesn't apply for special edition/aftermarket features like the TDI Cup Edition. Thunder bunny bumpers are no longer available for sale, but you might be able to find one online. I'm also looking for other options, as mine got cracked in half.

ECS Tuning no longer sells them, but they do provide the part number for the front bumper: JNV807101D (Source: http://www.ecstuning.com/ES2226188/)

I remember when the rear bumper was on sale for $180 at one time. I had 3 of them and sold them off once they went MIA.
