I would really like to have access to all of my photos from any device, anytime, anywhere. That obviously entails a cloud storage solution. However I would ALSO like to be able to rate/edit photos on any device and have those sync. I've investigated a couple of options, but haven't found a perfect solution, so thought I would see if anyone else has.

What I've looked at so far:
Google Drive - pros: autosyncing of files, apps for any device, any file works. cons: a little pricey ($10/mo per TB), has no photo management or editing built in.

Adobe Revel - pros: $6/mo for unlimited storage, basic editing (cropping, effects). cons: Poor management capabilities (targeted at consumer level).

Adobe Lightroom - pros: excellent editing capabilities on iOS and desktop. cons: Not really storing on the cloud, just syncing via cloud to desktop.

I am TRYING to like Revel, but its pretty limited in a few critical ways.

Have you checked out https://www.irista.com/? It's by Canon, I was part of the Beta but honestly never used it as I am a Smugmug user. I don't think it has any built in editing capability...but why do you want that?

Rating and adding keywords etc works really well on ipad while watching tv for example. I don't want to be forced to my desk to do that.

Ah. Well in that case I assume Irista can handle that. It's supposedly a pretty robust storage/management solution. It is from Canon after all.

Not sure if this is in the realm of what you're looking for, but Flickr has a pro version that has a lot of options for your photos and good apps for almost any device. Downloading to any device from the cloud is available too. Unlimited storage too.
