Thread: Question about automatic shift knob

    1. 07-29-2014 01:06 PM #1
If I wanted to change the stock shift knob to something like http://www.ebay.com/itm/400536031076 Would that be possible? could I just push down on the shifter to be able to shift out of park and into drive or do I have to get a shifter with a button? Im really confused on changing shifters for mk4 jettas and would really like some advice. thanks guys

I'm fairly certian you'll need a knob with a button. I haven't really seen anyone other then myself that has swapped shift knobs on an auto but mine is OEM so it has the button.
