I have had my 1.8t swap running just fine for a few weeks now. I am running the msd 8920 tach adapter to run my factory cluster. All of the sudden the msd box is ticking with the rpm. It was not doing this previously, just all of the sudden overnight. Is anyone else familiar with this?
I do not work for pizza or beer.

if your RPM working fine, then don't worry about it. If not then you have to check your signal wire. mine make the same noise so I moved it to the engine bay instead of it being inside the car.
