Curious if theres anyway to lookup or anyone who knows what the fastest 1/4 mile is for a stock bottom end supercharged 12v is? Talking stock rods/pistons/crank.. I do have arp rod bolts does that make me not stock bottom end? If so whats the quickest 12v supercharged?

No idea, but dragtimes.com is a pretty cool website that is a database for 1/4 mile times and what mods were done to get that time, check it out. I'm gonna guess mid to low 12's in street trim, could be quicker in a gutted car or mk1/2?

I went 11.65 with a stock block/head/clutch and on pump gas. I did have small cams but no valve springs. That was on 22x8x15" MT and the car weighed somewhere in the 2500-2600lb range with me in it.

      s/c vr6 running 11.65: http://youtu.be/VaowK5_faaU

It was long enough ago I don't remember many of the details. Towards the end I was coming to the limit of a bunch of components. As it was still a street car and I didn't want to put a bar in it anyway and not knowing how much was left I ended up taking the charger off and going all motor. For comparison sake the same car went 11.8 @2200 lbs all motor, still a stock block/head. I am confident that if I tried a supercharger again I could go quicker than 11.6 but I am not sure how low.

Would love to see someone take a shot at the record.

Do you remember what boost pressure that was at? Sounds like my goal is an 11.50 . My car weighs a bit more then that i believe but ive yet to weigh it, and ill be on the same slicks. That pass looked awesome any chance you remember your mph? and ill also be doing my passes at atco

Unfortunately I don't remember many of the details as that was a while ago. I went 11.7@117 at some point before that. I would imagine mph on the 11.6 pass was in the 117-118 range as I don't remember breaking 120. I was likely running a 2.87" pulley as that is what I ran most of the time. When I first ran 11s the car was around 2700lbs with driver. I am not sure of the weight or boost in the video. At some point towards the end of messing with the sc I took some weight off I just don't know if it was before or after that video.

I remember going 12.39 on a 205/50/15" BFG drag radial, a 3.12" pulley, and a stock trans without a diff and thinking an 11 second pass wouldn't be that hard. I was so very wrong. Given what I know now I am not sure how difficult it really is either but that is hindsight. I believe to this date I am the only one who has multiple 11 second timeslips though. Would be great to see someone else join the club. Focus on maximizing what you have before you worry about making changes. The record is very beatable but it will likely take dedication and perseverance as that is what it took to set it.

Im on a 2.87 pulley and 22x8x15 slicks with a diff, the car is only trapping 111-110 though , ill have to try and maximize what i have and tweak some things

110-111 mph is enough to go 12.2-12.3 pretty easily. Just keep going to the track and trying different things . Post a skip if you have one.

Get yourself a decent low pressure tire gauge and start at 10psi and work your way down. 16psi is way too high. If I remember correctly somewhere around 8.5 psi but gauges and setups vary. Don't be afraid to get them hot either. You might lose a mph or two but the car should hook much better.

Hit the track again, dropped tire pressure to 14psi when hot, car hooked like crazy, multiple 1.7 60' passes , last pass of the night was perfect , ran a 12.0 at 113

Thanks. And to think it all started with a supercharger like yours lol.

Keep going to the track and chipping away at it. There is more left in the 60ft at the very least.

Not on this clutch haah , that 1.7 60' tested the limits of it , any harder of a launch and it slipped

Atco has an open test and tune tonight after the private rental during the day. Usually some of the best track conditions you will see.

I really need meth , the heat in my manifold is absolutely killing the car. I loose 3-4mph between a run when the cars just getting to temp and a run after it heat soaks. I was at atco last night, it was terrible , tuesday is really the only day to get good runs in on test and tune, on friday everyone and their mother comes , i only got 2 passes and i was there 4.5 hours
