      Searched but didn't find much.

Can anyone give me some tips for getting the crankshaft position sensor unplugged? I can see the gray plug by looking down between some intake manifold runners but can't fit my hand between, or on either side to get at it.

Can anyone who has done this recently remember how they did it? Do I have to take the fuel rail off? Something else?

      Thanks!!

Probably easier to do it from below? Or maybe unbolt it from the block if you can and maybe it'll be easier to deal with swinging on the cable.

Most VW plugs I find you need to push on a little first before squeezing the latch, then they come off easy. Practice on a coil pack plug.
