Found this pic appears to be the 2015 gli with the new refreshed bumper and interior. Looks like it has the same cluster as the mk7 gti?[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

That new rear is so hideous, I don't get how they screwed that up. The rest looks great though.

Ya I definitely don't like the rear end. It still leaves something to be desired. Also with the wheels. I got the Mallory's off a CC and they are a Lil more concave than the ones on the new GLI.. and they should have stuck to the older thicker steering wheel

Looks good, but I can not get over the rear end. Makes me super happy about my 14' GLI rear end.

Granted, I own a '15... but I really don't see why people hate the rear end so much; I think the A3-esque styling is a nice cue... Also, for those hating on the steering wheel, drive with it for a few days, you'll start to love it... I just need to find someone who wrecks their '15 GLI DSG so I can grab the steering wheel w/ paddles for my Sport

How does the thickness of the wheel compare with the 14 gli wheels. It looks thinner.

I think the wheel is a little thinner, but the overall feel is very good, as is the button layout

I'm just really hoping by spring of next year some '14 GLIs are still left, because I don't like this at all. I think the Ed 30's look so much better. The wheels are terrible, as is the steering wheel and the over-use of piano black trim.

Rear end is looking like the A3. The cluster, shifter and wheel all scream MK7. The current GLI is an odd half breed of MK6 and MK7 bits. Looks like it is going even further to the MK7 side of things.

Wouldn't count on. It considering the deals they are offering right now. I got $5500 off sticker and some have seen in excess of $6000 off.

It's funny how this thread mirrors some of the comments posted when the MKVI came out and it was compared to the MK V.

I think its just one of those pre delivery protective stickers and not actually part of the bumper

I like the idea of blending the trunk with the tail lights in the rear. The part the screwed is on the bottom of the trunk lid and the bumper itself. I can't seem to understand why they'd blend everything smooth and flat, and then finish with a big bench down at the bottom?

Only thing im jealous of is the new cluster... the rear just ruins it for me. Glad I also planned to keep my GLI for at least a couple more years so I don't feel bad.
