lulz. I remember seeing that Neon last summer.

I remember him trying to race me when we were going to Chipolte, when Justin, John and I think Christian were directly in front of me. That kid is a Champion of Men! I just spit banana all over my computer screen when I saw that, thanks for the laugh Jay.

GLIs have the same setup, just different calipers

Really?
Since when are the calipers different?

4. 03-24-2010 05:38 PM #56279

did you figure out anything with spacers?

SCI is ordering some, but I did find a deal on CL for 200 bones for four 10mm spacers, all I need is two for the rears though, so I don't think I'll attack that ad. In other news, when the fudge are we doin a GTG, I submit a Lake Calhoun meet up sometime very very soon! I'm stoked to show off the ride with all it's newness.

Not necessarily true. TT Rotors and carriers can mate with my 98 vr6 calipers

Haha well now you're just digging too deep. Typically, when you upgrade to larger rotors, it would be advised to have larger calipers.
But not always

Good, hope it was a good recommendation. I have never been there personally, but I know they can handle it. We can meet up, I still won't have my car out until the city workers do their thing though. The roads are so bad, I am not risking hitting one of those craters. I haven't driven it since October. A few more weeks won't kill me. Dunno, we will see whats up.

Yeah I am rockin' the B&G's as we speak, nice ride and all, but damn those pot holes are creating a lot of concern on my behalf. I have the fat fives on, and have less than a fingers width between the top of the tire and the wheel well, let's just say I grind my teeth each time I hear that rubbing sound. I will be glad when they have all that ish sorted out. How's this weekend look for ya KILLAH?

Great video! So today on 35E N I was behind a red GTI, had a quick dash of fun playing chase with him, but I think it was mostly stock, it had a slight pull on me, wondering if anyone here. Red GTI with service plates(combat medal for current era war)??

So need to do a brake job on a buddies MKIV this weekend if parts arrive, does anyone have a rear caliper piston tool, and or know if I can rent one somewhere?

I own one if you want to borrow it PM me. Bought it a couple weeks ago to do my rear brakes.

Its what every one else in the world is thinking. That is some funny stuff.
Also, saw a MKIII Jetta on the side of Hwy 10 just south of 7th Ave. Any of you?
Also, if you have a Mac, and/or dont mind reformatting a drive and ignoring the crappy backup software, Best Buy has a Western Digital MyBook 1TB external Hard Drive for 109 bucks on sale right now. The website says they dont have any in stock in any of the stores in MN, but I know for a fact that Coon Rapids has like 8. Just and FYI

First I've seen of it. I am not even a huge fan of baseball, but I used to enjoy going to Twins games even though the dome sucks huge. I will definitely get out to a few games this year!
