    Really?

Since when are the calipers different?

  2. 03-24-2010 05:38 PM #56282
you need larger caliper for the different diameter rotor

did you figure out anything with spacers?

SCI is ordering some, but I did find a deal on CL for 200 bones for four 10mm spacers, all I need is two for the rears though, so I don't think I'll attack that ad. In other news, when the fudge are we doin a GTG, I submit a Lake Calhoun meet up sometime very very soon! I'm stoked to show off the ride with all it's newness.

Not necessarily true. TT Rotors and carriers can mate with my 98 vr6 calipers

Haha well now you're just digging too deep. Typically, when you upgrade to larger rotors, it would be advised to have larger calipers.

    But not always

Good, hope it was a good recommendation. I have never been there personally, but I know they can handle it. We can meet up, I still won't have my car out until the city workers do their thing though. The roads are so bad, I am not risking hitting one of those craters. I haven't driven it since October. A few more weeks won't kill me. Dunno, we will see whats up.

Yeah I am rockin' the B&G's as we speak, nice ride and all, but damn those pot holes are creating a lot of concern on my behalf. I have the fat fives on, and have less than a fingers width between the top of the tire and the wheel well, let's just say I grind my teeth each time I hear that rubbing sound. I will be glad when they have all that ish sorted out. How's this weekend look for ya KILLAH?

Great video! So today on 35E N I was behind a red GTI, had a quick dash of fun playing chase with him, but I think it was mostly stock, it had a slight pull on me, wondering if anyone here. Red GTI with service plates(combat medal for current era war)??

I own one if you want to borrow it PM me. Bought it a couple weeks ago to do my rear brakes.

Its what every one else in the world is thinking. That is some funny stuff.

Also, saw a MKIII Jetta on the side of Hwy 10 just south of 7th Ave. Any of you?

Also, if you have a Mac, and/or dont mind reformatting a drive and ignoring the crappy backup software, Best Buy has a Western Digital MyBook 1TB external Hard Drive for 109 bucks on sale right now. The website says they dont have any in stock in any of the stores in MN, but I know for a fact that Coon Rapids has like 8. Just and FYI

How's this weekend look for ya KILLAH?

Saturday work till 6, then Sunday I will be over in Edina at my buddies doing the brakes on his car. Just hit me up one of those days. Not much planned except business.

Little side note, I finally took care of my 81 in a 60 speeding ticket this morning. Court is a sad place. I said to the lady "it's amazing you ever get anything done around here since everyone is innocent and has a good story". I am sure it sounded good in your angry rant to your friends. But when I overhear it, they sound pretty lame. One guy even said "even my 5yr old commented on how rude the Cop was". Guess they should subpoena that kid. I got a also had to laugh a little when my hearing officer said "ok, if you get any tickets in the next year you will plead guilty to your current speeding violation". Hello, I am obviously guilty. Ah court, what a great business idea. It's like college, you pay alot of money for nothing really and the customer service can be terrible and you can't really do anything about it.

I'd be down for meetups whenever of course, but my car will not be operable till end of april.. going to take me a few weeks to do my trunk setup... going to try and do a good job in between work and ****... but if you want me to park my 1994 nissan and snap some HDR pictures of that beast, that sounds great to me.

Wow the stadium looks awesome. Especially compared to the **** hole metrodome.

Also, I spotted Alex in MG last night around 10pm. You probably didn't see me across the intersection but you went to the TCF.

    same caliper, different carrier.

That's what I thought. It's the same Single Piston Caliper I had on my GLI with a different carrier.

Now I have Dual Piston Front calipers from the R32 with 13" Rotors mounted to my factory GLI carriers.
