Hell yeah, as of now with the current stock setup, i can run the lake(starting from beach entrance, going all the way to cemetary) at around 50, then tappering off to about 40-45 by the cemetary. Not bad huh?!? And what about u....

if you are going towards 106th and old shok. i can take that right turn before the cemetary at about 50 and accelerating to 55 at the exit, then slowing to about 40-45 for the left turn thats right at the cemetary. w/o my tires speaking yet, and i need an alignment badly. so when i get that done i will be happy. and before that the lefthand turn going up that hill just after bush lake splits i can't take very fast because i got into an accident there so i am still rather hesitant.

it's to bad there aren't more roads like bush lake in the area. (that i'm aware of) here's a pic of me on the right turn before the cemetary:

Not bad, not bad at all. I actually just joined the GB for the Magnaflow ss cat-back exhaust. I cant wait to get that exhaust, I've heard alot of great things about it. Hey I got it for an awesome price, check out the Classifieds(sp) Magnaflow GB. Anyways, im off to bed, need to be up way too early. lata guys

Hello Twin City VeeDubbbers. I chill with a friend of mine who up in the twin cities. Maybe you might have seen me this year. I have a red 95 VR6 Jetta with Neuspeed exhaust,Unorthodoxy underdrive pulleys, P-Flow intake, P-Chip, Bosal Header, Bilsten sports shocks, and Neuspeed lowering springs 2.0-1.5. Soon to put on Schrick VGI,TT 264 Cams, SACHS 228mm clutch kit, GIAC chip, and an Autotech Lightened fly wheel. Here In Omaha there aren't a lot of VeeDubbers so we try not to get into petty arguments just race and have fun. Too all of those under a dub nation we will overcome the any honda or acura. Hey Nick Hencke hope you see this.

Huh. My girlfriend drives a New Honda, my roommate drives a older honda... I guess I personally am not trying to overcome any of them. I eprsonally think Hondas/Acuras are great cars. Heck they seem to last forever.
My roommate drives a '92 with 130,000 rounds on it and you would never know it. Granted my girl and roommate drive these cars with no intention of putting any junk on them, but even if they wanted to...

This morning, Wed, around 8:30. South 35W at the Crosstown, a yellow Corrado, sans rear bumper, younger kid with spiky hair driving. Tried to say Hey, but I was in my non-descipt Mk4 Jetta, so not exactly standing out.

speaking of good roads with curve to drive fast into... check out: Blackdog Rd. just south of Bloomington off 35w. Fun road!!! I have taken aquite a few customers down that road in some of our higher end cars

yeah, it is definetly a good road to drive fast on, only problem is that it is bumpy and rutty as h@ll. There are too many dips, the road has crappy upkeep, so I dont usually go down there anymore.
A couple more good places:
Going west on 494, take the hwy 5 exit, take that all the way to where it splits to hwy 5 and 312(i think), take the 312 way(curves left slightly, instead of continuing on 5), you take a nice sweeping left hander and then it is a straight shot about half a mile or so, you can easily hit 100 before you have to make the 25 mph right turn.
The other one i like is in EP, take pioneer trail past flying cloud, when you see the huge Grace church, take the first left, it should be cty rd 4, this road is a windy, hilly, great stretch of asphault. Check 'em out. Anyone else with there favorite hot spots???

my fav is 101 south between chanhassen and hwy 212 in shakopee, saw many a car try and keep up with a few of us. also saw many a car break doind the same. ( grew up on that road, so i know it well) lets not forget about the big"O" that we all like so much

I saw a red corrado with white rims. Sounded raw as hell (not up on my corrado engine sounds, so i couldent tell if it was a g60, or vr6), turned off of Gardenview in AV onto 42 twards Burnsville. One of my friends said he knows of it, and claimed it to be a g60.

Another real sighting. Mk3 Black Jetta on Hwy 36 at Manning at 5pm tonight. On snow tires and a couple small stickers in the rear quarter window. Looked pretty serious...you here?

I past you as I was heading into to the downtown exits and you took off on 94w exit.

Ya know on my daily driver I was having some serious issues about 2 years ago with the whole seatbelt thing, it was on and off and I had to totally jiggle it all around to get it to start. Finally I got so damn sick of doing that I just spliced the two wires in the upper seat belt thingy and the pretty much tied them together and put a small cap on the end so nothing touched the wires.

Bam never had an issue since.

Today coming out of work(CC in Edina), I saw a silver MKIII GTI. It was lowered prolly had exhaust, tinted windows, it was zipping around the corners behind Bobby and Steves. Are you on here?

Truck (empty) = 16,500 #'s
3-4X8 pallets of plexiglass = 17,800 #'s
Gross weight = 34,300 #'s (truck is rated for 32,000)

MK4 JTDI = 2700 #'s w/ stereo shet
