i think that girl or woman would be more PC, but i didnt think the sausage tamers around here would care much. ive been using the term broad for a few years probably. not sure where i picked it up though.

edit: either way she was driving a pretty sweet car for a mostly stock mk4. at least it wasnt silver

Ironic, I was just leaving from new employee training for Burnsville VW, but the training was in Golden Valley. I was pimpin the POS Saturn, but still sportin the brand new VW hat. Haha. Anyway. Nice lookin' DUB.

What are you planning on doing there? I just got my GTI from them, they were very cool about everything. Got a great price too, I guess it helps if my dad knows the Sales Manager... Anyways, let me know what your position will be, maybe I'll see ya there, hopefully not in the service area(knock on wood)

Employed by David and Danny Luther calls for some C-4 celebration, at the dealerships of course. :-D

Maybe I'll call Dave and ask him if that would be okay? Okay, personal reasons of not liking that family chain of dealerships. Considering David is a good guy, but the employees do not practice what the owner preaches. Cept Hopkins Dodge :-D

After Rudy passed away, well, Dave did some rather decent economic work and acquired quite a bit. I guess I cannot doubt that either. Didja' know they even (well Rudy did) owned numerous dairy queens, and their pool at their house in AZ has a big DQ sign painted at the bottom of it? Hahaha, a luther fact for the day *grin*.

I work at a car dealer as well.Every car dealer I've ever been to is about bottom line(make as much as you can with every car). There is a dealer that actually fixes cars that won't really make money just because they are"sweet"cars.Where I work we love the cars.

Yeah, but that's besides the point. I am just comparing the values that Luther tries to instill vs. what his employees actually enact. They're false. But he does have the "best(est)" GM's =].

bah, morrie rules. and i know where that PARTY BOY works. ive bought 5 or 6 cars there.

  18. 03-09-2003 01:17 PM #193
My buddy has bought every one of his car's from Morries. But when he bought a 98 jetta glx, he paid 15k for the thing w/ 50k miles, and a lot of problems by 70k miles. I'm not going to say any more as per se flamatory, as part of the idiocy came on his part for just buying the first thing he saw after driving my VR. I like morries because they have some nice ricers; I've seen them with RX-7's and 300ZX's, but never anywhere else but morries

spotted a red mkIII gti, lowered, oem wheels, yellow calipers, big-ol-can on the back exhaust(had to be at least 4 inches in diameter!). It was in the Edina Circuit City car stereo installation bay. We were curious so we popped the hood to see what was lurking inside, and to our dismay we spotted a lil 2.slow staring back at us. (No hard feelings to anyone with a 2.0, great engine with little to no problems, that i've heard of, just thought it was funny) Anyways, if your on here, I hope our guys do a good job of throwing in your system for ya. lata

You should be a little nicer to those driving 2.0's. Muh ol lady would woop your butt for insulting her motor, haha, or not, she does it too much herself. Werd to the VR, screw the 2oh, but hey, for style, they're okay =]

Oh, and note, her suckah jetta has 170k miles on it and no problems, cept she needs shocks, eh justin? :-D

tell that to chuck(PARTY_BOY), hes leading the world in making vr's look like dog turd with the 2.0 golf GL 2 dr on 4 spoke votex wheels.

Indeed. I know, he's been working hard on that kit, and ya know, mad props. I guess for those who prefer cheaper insurance rates, the pimp-pup 2.0T will suffice :-D. Yo, another note, I just bought new OEM plug wires, for 71 bucks from vwparts. It's the only good deal I can find potterman raised his price from 80 to 90 in the past week, while impex drops their price from 85 to 71, so that's tight. now, let's hope this is the last fixitorthecarrunslikesh*t i have to endur for the next 10k miles, huh? HEH.

we all know what people think about the 2.0, i was hoping for the VR to show itself, but it wasnt anywhere to be found. No hard feelings, they still look the same from the outside, and its still a DUB...

Two cool old school dubs this weekend... I was out at Harriet taking pictures of my baby, taking a new road I hadn't gone on before. I can't tell you exactly where I was, since I was purposefully lost, but I was a few blocks north of Lake Harriet...

Spied a good condition green old Beetle, with some nice aftermarket rims on (whatchu doin drivin those in this weather sucka??!!).

Came across a pink Rabbit - that thing kicked ass! A pink one! Woah! Makes me want a winter car now!

Also saw a stock, maybe dropped silver MK4 VR6 GTI on 35w on Sunday, around 5.30p. Had the donuts on. I didn't recognize the driver.

I totally agree with you, everytime I see a teenager or "young adult" driving a nice dub, I give em a lil wave, and most the time the little punks dont even bother waving back. Its just that do I know you, then why are you having at me look i get. Dumba$$e$, oh well, I will always wave at a nice dub. Gotta show the love for the dub
