Thread: Boost issue after driving on highway

    1. 03-26-2015 09:14 PM #1
      Hi. I have a 2001 1.8t 110k
It's tuned for 18psi. driving around town in second and third gear it pulls fine, but then when I'm on the highway, after about 60 or 70 mph the boost builds up really slowly and it stutters / surges which continues to happen after I'm off the highway.

I have no cel. Just replaced the coil packs and did ngk bkr7e less than 1k ago gapped to .28. My APR dv has the "Apr moo" could this be a factor? Or is it some sort of boost leak.

I tried looking around on a bunch of forums about this but I figured I'd ask. It seems kind of specific

Bad MAF in my car caused lots of stuttering/surging issues
