Curb weight of the '72 was just over 1900 lbs and nothing on that car besides the addition of the motor and 5-speed appears to have added extra weight.
I'd have to know more about the build, but I'd guess a bit more conservatively at 180.

If it was 1900 lb. stock I'd say it might weigh 2,000 now, as the trans is likely heavier and there are probably a few lbs. here and there.

180-200 hp in a great looking package at around 2,000 lb.? Yes, please!

1995 Dodge Neon Sport Coupe - $1300 (Richmond)

I'm regretfully selling my 1995 Dodge Neon Sport Coupe. This car is a DOHC five speed in Nitro Yellow Green (This is a RARE one year only colour offered on Neon Sport, Sport Coupe and ACR trims.)

The link below breaks down production numbers for 1995 NYG cars:

      http://blog.modernperformance.com/19...uction-numbers

Being a Neon Sport Coupe this car has four wheel disc brakes with ABS, rear swaybar, perfomance ratio transmission, quick ratio steering, Power locks, Mirrors, A/C, etc. This car also has the rare optional Flash decor interior with high bolster seats. The only option my car is missing is cruise control, however I have most of the parts to install it if you're so inclined.

The factory tape deck died, so I upgraded it to a Factory Chrysler CD player from a 2000 Dodge ram. This car is in really good shape, and the paint has stood up great with only minor fading and no clearcoat peel (common with this colour) The interior is near mint with no major wear and a non smoking vehicle.

The car has 183,XXX kms .The car DOES NOT come with the 16" wheels (they aren't for sale either,) it's on 14" bubblesofts now. Also has a lot of Mopar Performance parts that were added (Mopar Hi-rate lowering springs, Mopar Performance computer, Mopar EGR Block off, Iceman Cold air intake, Mopar performance plug wires, SRT-4 shifter with booger bushings, etc.) Comes with a ton of spare parts with it as well. This car with the mods and the suspension makes this car a blast to drive.
Also included is a pair of "Euro market" amber colored front turn signals, bought brand new from the dealership. These are super rare to find, and are in excellent shape.
I have receipts for all the Mopar performance parts that were purchased through the Dodge Dealership I worked at. The parts are long discontinued through Mopar Performance and are getting harder and harder to find.

**Now for the downside, the car has a slight rattle in the motor, so essentially it will need a bottom end done on the motor. Still runs and drives though.

      The Good:

      - Overall good shape, zero rust
      - Rare Colour
      - Lots of spare parts (Interior pieces, stock shifter, stock PCM, Brand new windshield and molding, spare front seat, brand new spare front licence plate bracket, full set of replacement decals (Dodge hood emblem, 16V DOHC hood decal, Neon and Sport Coupe trunk decals,) Mopar performance rear swaybar mounting kit, spare headlight gaskets, stock airbox, spare muffler, interior switches, throttle bodies, two spare SRT-4 shift knobs, spare turn signal and wiper switches, very rare 1995 leather wrapped steering wheel, spare fuel rail, etc.
      - Stored undercover for most of its life - paint is in V.G.C
      - No leaks, wind noises from windows, no rattles from the interior panels
      - Have original owners manual, 1995 Neon VHS information tape, 1995 Dealer brochures, stacks of receipts, Dodge neon performance handbook, etc.

      The Bad:

      - Will need the rattle in the motor addressed
      - Windshield has a circular crack in it, comes with an O.E.M Mopar windshield brand new in the box with molding.
      - Will need tires eventually
      - Do not have the original 14" sport wheels that were on the car originally
      - front left corner of the bumper has a couple of scuffs

This is a unique and rare car and I want to see it go to a good home, please feel free to e-mail me with any questions or if you want additional information. The price might seem high for the car, but I have far more into the car then I'm asking.

I'm open to offers, please be reasonable and don't waste my time.

I will not sell anything separately, and the car comes with all of the parts I've got kicking around, bring a truck to load up all the spare parts!
Press hard, you're making four copies.

Back in the day we bought a '96 Neon Sport. Loved all the parts twin cam engine, four wheel disk etc. Didn't much like the lack of reliability. Engine ate a head which I got Dodge to mostly cover after much argument. Eventually found my wife a Passat as a replacement. I was slowly fixing anything that I could find on the Neon in hopes of selling for around $3K. Wife drove Neon to work one day in Vallejo. After work she parked the car so that she could walk the water front. While she was gone, some A**HOLE jumped up on the trunk, jumped on the roof and jumped down on the hood. Every panel other than the sides was dented. AAA gave us like $6800 for the car. Thanks A**HOLE.
Classified forum rules require that you post a price. If you don't know what to ask, they suggest that you search past FS threads.

So, when your item sells, please don't edit out your price and description when you mark it "SOLD". Rather, edit to show selling price.

My 6th grade teacher, in a Cleveland suburb, had one like that in blue. I wonder if he had it repainted...?

A few I saw in Western Mass while browsing. These caught my eye as most people in this area sell beat Accords and pick ups.

This thing looks like the Goldmember car

1981 HMV freeway for sale. Extremely rare car and this one has had some really unusual things done to it. It has a ninja 500 engine most of the way installed. All the hard stuff is done. Just needs to be wired. I have many many parts for this car and a crazy amount of paper work on it and its history. Just looking for offers. They only made 700 of these cars ever and this one is the only one anything like it in the world.

Selling 2010 Ferrari California only 7,600 miles. Car has a rebuilt title. Call me for more info.

      Rebuilt title?
I wonder how bad the damage was to the Ferrari. Sounds like it may have been totaled in an accident or flood. Insurance companies are quick to total Ferraris like this because the repairs often cost more than the value.

I'm sure some buyer places a crazy value on it. It's likely a dealer use vehicle, lot plow duty maybe. Or some poor soul that never used it as intended.

Thanks, it looks good. I think a lot of Ferrari buyers would be put off by the rebuilt title. If you have $87k to spend on a car, you certainly will find one that is less shady.

Very! Price isn't too far off from what it SHOULD be, and this is coming from someone who has had 4 XJ's, and has a particular soft spot for the red ones. Even over here in the PNW, I have seen a number of people fail to sell their XJ's at prices above $9k, and that is for very low mile models such as this. Around here, i'd expect that to go for $7-8k if they are lucky enough to find the right buyer.

For reference, I picked up my 2000 a couple years ago at 80k miles for about $5k (with a laundry list of issues). I suspect I could sell it for $6-7k now that I have resolved most of said issues.
