Your talking about a cai? Or a filter on a stick?

Get whatever one you'd like, they're all basically the same.
Canadian Immo 2 and 3 defeat service, PM for more information.
Vag-Com Scanning available in London area, Hex+Can.

Cai stands for cold air intake. It would run a longer pipe from the manifold down into the engine bay with a filter at the end. So it sucks air from under the car. But the risk of it sucking in water and hydro locking your engine isn't worth it imo if this is a DD. Just get a short ram intake. I have a k&n on my golf and I love it, but they're all pretty much the same thing. Tubing and a filter. They're all the same, just different names. so go with whichever one you like best, price wise and look wise.

The one I linked you is a short ram, and it works for the 1.8T as well as the 2.0.

I made one myself, but I'm pretty sure you can buy them separately.

Yeah you would just remove the stock airbox and put it in its placement

If the r32 has the same size wouldn't it still work just might have to use a costom heat shield?

Pretty sure the MAF on the vr6 is bigger than the MAF on the 1.8 so it wouldn't fit
