Considering a similar car, '07 2.0T with similar miles, 110,000. Looks quite nice, have yet to see it in person though. What is your overall opinion of the car you own? It looks like you have invested quite a bit into yours and not sure I am ready for that much of a commitment! Timing belt may end up being enough of an issue to dissuade me from this purchase, since I haven't had a car with a timing belt as a daily driver for many years. Thanks for any information you can supply. Your car looks great! Dave
At 117k had Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 in size 235/40ZR18 95Y XL mounted on 18" Omanyt (18"x7.5" ET51 5x112) R32 rims at with lifetime balance and rotation at Firestone for $64 plus tax. Also had re-alignment preformed and instructed technician to adjust rear camber to ~1.5 degrees.
On 15-Aug-16 at 119k I dropped off the vehicle to Jeff's VW repair in Gloucester, Virginia so the next morning he could remove and replace front anti-sway bar end links, passenger side CV shaft, and cam follower.
Anti-sway bar end links were purchased from FCP Euro for $34 each
Passenger side CV shaft was purchased from NAPA Auto in Newport News, Virginia for $64 plus tax
Cam follower was purchased from Casey Imports in Newport News, Virginia for $57 plus tax
Labor to remove and replace all of the above was $150
On 16-Aug-16 Jeff from Jeff's VW Repair in Gloucester, Virginia called to report that he discovered my cam followed had worn through. There was also damage to the high pressure fuel pump and the intake camshaft.

You posts inspired me to do similar upgrades to my 07 B6. So far I have done almost all of the maintenance you have done (less CV joints, fan assembly and wheels/tires).
I am curious about this cam follower issue now. What are symptoms of it wearing through? Does your HPFP and intake camshaft need repair?
Purchased relay from dealer and installed - problem solved
