Hey guys running into some odd issues here finally decided to ask the experts about my issues!
I have been reading up and asking questions on this form for awhile and am thankful for all your guys help so far!
The issue that I am having now is related to the ISV, When my ISV is plugged in my corrado will not idle are have constant power it surges and bucks when at full throttle and anywhere in between while driving while running extremely rich. In addition to that it barely can idle with out dying. I quick half cure for this seemed to be to unplug the ISV and run without it, however some of the same symptoms are still present. on a colder morning it will not start and stay idling i assume since the ISV is not attached once warmed up seems to run ok, still the rpms will very by a few hundred rpms. So I ended up buying a brand new ISV thinking my ISV is bad and that did not fix the issue. What is also odd about this is sometimes I can run the ISV and the car will perform more normal and not run rich and surge and buck while driving but will revert back to that in the middle of a cruise down the road. There is no warning as to when it will revert back to surging and running rich and does not care if the car is warmed up our cold, it has done it during both scenarios.
With the ISV Unplugged the car runs well enough to drive has decent power and pulls well with new charger, however when at stop lights I can pump the brakes and that changes the rpm by 1000rpm it will run higher if I keep pumping the breaks
Here is a list of parts that I have changed out for new ones
-Brand new ISV
-New 3bar fuel pressure regulator had a 3.5 and that helped with running rich.
-New Super charger from BBM
-New Blue water temp sensor
-New Stock corrado chip
-New O2 sensor
-Used purple labeled ECU (mine was orange label)
In addition to new sensors and parts I have checked continuity to all the out pins that go into the ecu, checked and shined up all ground wires and put new ends on most. set idle and timing to the Bentley specs running through the whole check list that is on the form already. I have rechecked timing and wiring multiple times and seem to have good connection throughout.
Here are some videos of it.
I am located in the austin area and would love to meet some guys around here that have corrados as well if anyone wants to come and take a better look!
Thanks all again for your help so far, the things we do for these cars!
