Does that wiper sit in the middle of the windshield or seat all the way down?

I've had the single wiper since I bought the car first mod. I love it hell of alot better than 2 wipers. Here are some pix on the driverside i noticed it doesnt hang over the edge like it does on the pass. side.

what's the benefit of this?

15. 03-26-2003 05:30 PM #15
-wipers work just as good, if not a bit better than stock
-replacement blades can be purchased at any auto parts store
-install is kind of a pain, see my website for full instructions.

i got this on my car.. i have to say it works a hell of alot better than the stock ones. one thing i loved that it got rid of was the stop mark that the left blade was making when it hit 90degrees (where it stopped upright). i mean since i use rainX . the only thing i dislike about the bonrath single wiper is the notch i had to cut in my plastic cowl. and the german directions , n no sticker......????
but as for the wiper in it's stopped postion thats up to you and where you want to make the stop at. it can be adjusted to anywhere..

Ive heard that the bonrath wiper kit can either sit all the way down or in the center of windshield. Is that true? If not, how do you get it straight up?

all depends on how you attach the linkage to the motor

I could ask a penny for your thoughts and get change back.

Exactly my thoughts. Can someone go into more detail on how a single wiper can cover more surface area, or be more effective, than two smaller wipers?

yeah i think 2 wipers are better. And when i look at the black GTI, the one-wiper thing makes it look like its incomplete.
