no. no stack. map 4. (logging capability only). just using JB4 as a logger for now. had JB4 previously so left it in for meth in the future perhaps.
so then i have no clue why the boost is showing up lower than what UM set it to.
btw..car was at normal operating temps. while logging took place.

perhaps JB4 is showing the wrong boost value?? how are the people you referenced measuring their boost values? same way (gauge off the intake side) as you are?

It will but you have to change the setting, btw my car is set @ 29psi I see spikes between 29-30 but under load it will usually hols 24-26 depending on gear and ethanol %

Well got it to the track for the first time. A bit disappointed: 13.1@102, 13.2@104

      500m elevation
      Full weight

This is with a hpa downpipe / dogbone
      29psi tuned on 90/ 11psi launch

I'm thinking better fuel, update the tune to 91, intake and intercooler and should see a big gain... I'd hope
      Thoughts?

I know a stage 2 apr R did 11.9 on the track last fall. He intake, intercooler, dp, racefuel

For reference a Gti did 13.5 with the jb1 (I think map 6 or something?) he had better fuel, tires and stripped back interior.

that seems a bit slow even in high elevation, i was running consistent 12.2 runs with not the best track weather(high humidity) and the wheels were spinning off the line.. i think worst run was a 12.5 when i bogged the launch.. set to 29psi with 9psi launch... I was quite disapointed i didn't dip into the 11s as well, i reckon with some good track tires shouldn't be too hard

What was the DA at the track?

I would hope so, some stock cars probably near sea level have ran a 13 second flat.. Better fuel will definitely help, I'd also check for boost leaks just to be sure

Yeah, I was honestly expecting 12.5ish I know the SIR track runs a couple tenths slower on average than other tracks in the province. But still..
I'm thinking I'll get the p3 installed with the boost tap and see if she's hitting 29.

DA was 3100, the Gti ran the same day. Both dsg.

For those who had their TCU flashed, is it now possible to hit the rev limiter without upshifting automatically even in manual mode ?
I asked this question in the Unitronic thread and someone told me it's possible with the UM tune.

On mine, if you use LC in manual mode and hold it to the floor, it will shift automatically (that gave me a 12.10@114mph on a 1.8 60ft) I'm unsure about the answer if driving in manual otherwise and not having used LC.

Yeah manual mode it will upshift when you hit rev limiter and I found my car launches much better in manual vs sport mode... Best I had was a 1.735 60 foot which gave me my 12.224 @ 110mph run... I am confident if there was a better DA that day it would clock much faster up top..

You have to ask them to remove the auto upshift in manual mode.

It will upshift with their normal TCU tune, but they will change it on request.
