Just watched this tonight. It seemed more like a documentary than a production movie to me (maybe that was the point?). For people who have never experienced that side of life I am sure they view it is a glorified snuff film. I thought it was an interesting look into the side of life and communities that isn't crammed down our throats through modern media/Hollywood.
Some of the scenes though had me wondering two things
1. How they could film it without breaking any child laws
2. What parents allowed their kids to play those rolesTo my original points though, the roles their kids portrayed probably weren't that far off from every day life for them.
I will have to find the other movies mentioned in this thread.
