I knew the poop emoji was coming but I still watched it till the end. I love all these spoof videos of the Chevy ads, they're probably the worst set of ads I've seen in recent years

The first time I saw the real ad and they guy told the focus group that you could only reply with emojis I though "damn, if I were there I'd just say 'aw hell naw', throw up my hands and walk out while yelling how stupid it was.

A picture is worth 1000 words... unless it's an emoji, then it's worth something like 1 to 3 and it's tough to make a sentence out of them. <-- = "headbangingly stupid".

Do they suck? We are talking about the ad...

That being said, I hate these commercials with a fiery passion. This is usually my response to them when they come on TV.

"Real people" my anus. I know GM is proud their econoboxes aren't complete POSes now, but there is no way that solid 8/10s find Cruze and Malibu "amazing".

The whole purpose of a commercial though is to educate you and get you interested in their cars. If they are not doing that, regardless of how many people talk about them, they are a failure. Furthermore, they actually stand to damage the brand. If we associate Chevy with these crappy ads, does that make us more or less likely to buy one in the future regardless of vehicle?

Oh, I agree - Very little actual information is conveyed in these ads. I'm not a big fan of Chevy (outside of the SS/Corvette), and these ads aren't doing much to help their image in my mind.

These ads are the worst ones on TV and make the brand look incredibly stupid, I guess they are really trying to get millenials to buy cars?

That smarmy-faced marketing guy couldn't complete a sentences without being interrupted by, "Nomanualnocare."
Of course, I could be wrong. Make a case for why, if you like.
