It has a Mitsubishi thing on the boot lid so it was a used, used car. Im not surprised it was in less than ideal condition. At a point, they simply arent worth fixing and should just be driven until they blow up.

First off, this car is not an AMG C32....at least I don't think it is. The ground effects are wrong and so are the wheels.

But whatever it is, the cost is so small, who cares? Great pickup.

Just find out what it really is.

AFAIK that kind of wear on the tires mean bad, very bad shocks...seeing the amount of that kind of wear on the tires, that tells the shocks´life is waaaaay past...
anyways, thats a minor thing i guess, unless it has some sort of magic suspension...but it has regular steel bits, isnt it?

Matt, what are you seeing that looks wrong? I think the car is legit - front bumper is correct, AMG seats, and a 180 mph speedo, which I'm fairly sure only came on the AMG versions.

If it has a supercharger on that 6, that would confirm it.

So I wasn't going to say anything but since you did...I agree. It's wearing CLK wheels and is missing the AMG instrument cluster (AMG is etched in the middle).

Edit: Didn't see that it does have AMG in the cluster. I stand corrected. Definitely odd about the rebadging and wheels though. Regardless, enjoy the hell out of this OP!

I am admittedly not up on my C32 spotting, but the fact that the KOMPRESSOR badge is missing from the front fenders is a pretty big tipoff.

Again, I may be wrong here, but I do not believe this is a C32.

It appears to be a C320 with an AMG styling package on it.

It has the amg logo on the cluster.

I'm also pretty sure it does have the correct bumper and side skirts. Wheels could have easily been swapped over the years.

As mentioned, the only thing missing is the Kompressor badge. Has AMG seats, AMG Gauge, "C63" Shifter, AMG Engine and the bumper and skirts look to be correct too.

Guys, it's a legit C32. Just a really poor one.

I'd say you just turned 300$ into a solid 3000$ car. I've wanted the next model AMG c43. 4.3l V8 in a small sedan.
      IIRC these were still hand-built.

The C32 was actually the successor to the C43. The supercharged V6 put out more than the NA 4.3L did. The C55 came out after the C32, followed by the C63.

If it's legit then it's legit. At the price he got it, it could be a 4 cylinder and I would say he got a screaming deal.

      Ah yes missed that pic

I wonder at what point, and with what owner, that the car had its factory badging removed and replaced with the Mitsubishi logo. Of course, that wouldn't be my MAIN concern, but it's funny.

It say's "Keffer" next to the Mitsubishi logo, and a quick search shows a Keffer Mazda in NC which matches the plates, so probably a dealer badge

      Nice aquisition OP

You guys realize AMG wheels of any Mercedes are a pretty penny. Typically none are less than 1K/piece. Someone parted the car and made money on easy removable/profitable parts.

One of those seats is more than 300 dollars.

And how can you guys miss the eaton/roots type supercharger on that motor. That's a legit C32, albeit one with poor upkeep. A steal for the DIY'er, until a major driveline component fails. Then its
      game over.

Best of luck with her OP and nice find
