I had a little traction issue climbing the hill on the way out. Must have been the oil.

      haha i noticed that.

that guy that came out on the motorcycle left about when i did and ended up following me for a while. not sure what happened exactly, but he dumped his bike behind me. i wasnt really even going fast, so i don't think he was "trying to keep up with me" or anything. he was ok, bike looked more or less ok as well.

good to meet you all! minus shivering the entire time, it was fun.

      Glad the biker was ok!

Return trip was super boring. So much traffic.

Nice meeting you guys in person too!

My oil slick button got stuck on. I checked my oil pick up tube shortly after leaving, it felt good.

I may have to thrash and get it back together for this. Completely forgot this was happening. Gotta support the old watercooled gtgs.
That's clean. I just built mine too. Mk4 tho.

I want to thank all the VW Enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts who attended the Old School GTG. Without you and your passion for the event, it would not have been possible. Great turnout despite the light drizzle..............from Mother Nature. Maybe we need to bump this to early April, HAHAHAHA.

A few bumps and bruises to get there: ADAM and his Gorgeous Cashmere MK1 GTI suffered a cracked oil pan and had to leave it there on the side of the road overnight. I spoke to him this morning and he should be home by now with it in a trailer. Keep us posted BRO'.

I think we also solidified our presence there at Drakes Beach with the approval of the National Park Service.......(ahem) Ranger Henderson!!!!! She was very nice and pleasant in making sure we followed protocol for being there that day. THNAK YOU. Thanks to Ranger Nate as well.

      SEE YOU NEXT YEAR.

It was great to see everyone, sad I had to leave a little early. Titleist and I drove the Bent M for 400 miles yesterday and it didn't eat a single fender liner

I loved the TDI Corrado, especially after it rolled coal on us getting on the highway

Good times, thanks Leo for making it all work and negotiating with the park ranger!!

P.S. I love Brendan's SS. I might have to sell my kidney for one.

Tell me about it Jared..................my back was wet when I drove all the way home.
