      then DEFINITELY no stripes.

nothing worse than a base model tarted up with a bunch of tacky 'pony package' graphics or stripes or whatever.

to actually answer your question, I'd go blue with black stripes out of those two choices.

In an ideal world I'd skip the stripes completely.

I'd go blue with blue stripes. Then name the car 'double grab-em'.

      Grabber blue, without a doubt.

I saw a Focus RS in grabber blue in the wild last week, such a gorgeous color

Edit: Nevermind. Just read that it's going to be a V6.

I would go for a GT in Yellow, or either of the Blues.

in fantasy world I'd go green, or black/red

So fleet spec white, or bright ass blue?

Get the bright ass blue. I did and I have no ragerts.

I thought Ford was dropping the V6 and going 2.3 EB and V8 only in the Mustang. You can still order a 2017? When do the 2018 models go into production?

      Fall, according to Ford dealers.

That is surprisingly late since Mustang production changeover has usually been ~April/May, showing up at dealers May/June for summer buyers, but regardless, March/April inventory has always been previous (current) year.

Focus RS is Nitrous Blue, not Grabber. I Nitrous Blue. I'd paint my Fiesta that color in a heartbeat if it wouldn't cost a fortune to do it correctly.
I'd probably get Grabber, even on a V6 (no stripes.)

      Why wasn't this a poll - 3 pages already!

Going with the national racing colors, one would be reduced to a fine choice of Grabber Blue with White stripes or White with the dark blue stripes. And why not just get the GT350-R - those carbon fibre wheels - no resale problem ever!

I would probably never buy a Mustang, but if I did, gold with black stripes. Is that even an option for 2017?

What he means is: When you mix pigment colors, you are subtracting color. When you are mixing light waves, you are using additive coloring.

      Subtractive:

      Additive:

When you are coloring a car, white is the absence of color because it's made with pigments.

If you mix all the watercolors in your kit together, do you get white paint? No, you get a terrible, dark brown paint.
