The price delta between high miles (where you are now) and really high miles (200k+) might be $2000 at best. Maybe a little more if you have a rare color combo or options. I think driving an e34 M5 for 36k miles for $2000 is a fair deal.

The E34 is such a nice car. I still remember my 535i manual and wish I had it today. It had so much character.

I love how well it's been taken care of. It's in excellent shape in general, not just for its mileage.
You think you hate it now, but wait 'til you drive it.

With the higher mileage and clean condition, the new owner can take the car out and actually use it and enjoy it and put miles on it without worrying about ruining the market value. If it was worth $$eleventy billion because it had 14 miles on it, it might be hard to treat it like the slut that it is.

Sorry but this one looks like a Stance-twerkes car compared to the one Hushy posted. Stock ride height and ambers > slizammed and clears.

I've never driven the M5, but I have driven 2 different manual 540's and they were pretty impressive...they were both green with tan also.

Come on Ross. This is slammed:

This is still a usable car:

If it makes you sleep any better I've got the amber turn signals in a box.

That and European trim deleting the side markers would make me feel better.

Do you just not like him on a personal level? Reason why I say that is that there is nothing wrong with that E34.

If I had the disposable income right now and no fear of the old lady kicking me out for buying one... I would be all over this.

I miss my E34 525. Goddamn, do I miss that car. So many great memories, occasionally interrupted by the thought of the money spent to keep it on the road.

The E39 may have been the epitome of the Ultimate Driving Machine but the E34 was just so choice. I really think it is a timeless design.

Damn, thread premise fail. I was hoping someone would point out the ZHP knob, but I totally got confused on the wheel situation

Looks good at that height Although I prefer the amber turn signals to add a bit of color to the front.

Definitely. I spent four years taking photos of "high line" used cars and it's amazing how poorly people treat their cars, and how most normal vehicles are pretty beat within only 3-5 years. The fact that this car is over 25 years old, has been driven 162k+ miles, and still looks this good is amazing Hell, my 139k mile 2000 Boxster isn't even in as good of shape as this car!

By the way, if anyone wants to see the full set of sale pics before BaT, here's the gallery: https://www.flickr.com/photos/963537...h/34011055032/

I've been thinking about selling the 911 and getting something far cheaper but equally fun/special. Been eyeing getting back into a FiST, but maybe I'll make a run at this thing. I've always said I'll own an E28/34/39 M5 someday.

$12700. I think the interior issues and the sloppy stereo wiring will hurt it.

This is a really nice, honest driver E34 M5 that has been owned by the right kind of people.

If it doesn't fetch at least $14k, I'll be kicking myself for not bidding.

      Best of luck, #jdmart.

The only sloppy stereo wiring are the loose wires for connecting the Bazooka tube that has been removed from the trunk. The rest of the install looks very sanitary.
