      Happy Father's day!

Didn't see a thread posted yet, and this forum always provides the best feeds to watch, so thread was needed. Also a reminder to anyone who forgot
Germans are white people. Look up #84 on the list of things white people like: Gear. Lots of Gear. We even have gear farkles over here. -Atomicalex

Upon my word I have had as much excitement on a car as in the air, especially since the R.F.C. have had women drivers. -James Byford McCudden

No Audi, no care! Just kiddddddding, but I don't think I'll be paying to watch this on my phone/laptop this year. Anyone know of free streaming, let me know.

I understand that lap times of the LMP2 cars are down this year. The rule makers adjusted the BoP b/c there's only 6 LMP1 entries this year?

For me, this year seems washed out on the LMP1. Its just a battle of two, without any other real challenger. Its very likely both big manufacturers will get on the podium.

The FIA should make changes to unify LMP categories and have at least 15-20 contestants. I know the advancements should be bold, but the last years since the first Diesel Audi, have injected the category with many technological advancements like hybridization, diesel, electricity, to the point no traditional racing teams can hold a candle without factory efforts, and effectively ruining the LMP1 for the rest.

This year I think wont be seeing LeMans as I did the last 10 or 12 previous years.

I can still feel the heartache of the last lap from one year ago, Kazuki Nakajima having to park the Toyota leading the race in the final 3 minutes/last lap. Websters could use the Toyota paddock photos to properly convey the term "gutted"!

with Audi now out, that would make sense.

Toyota and Porsche will be duking it out for sure though!

I just started watching the Amazon series called "LeMans: Racing is Everything". Didn't know much about the race until now. I'd recommend this series for anyone wanting to know more about it. I'm interested in watching the race this year and would love to go see the race live one day.

Any GTE AM teams running last year's 911 RSR? The one with the engine hanging out from the back.

In for streams, since this is "peak birthday season" and I'll be sneaking off for some coverage, in between me laying on the couch with the laptop on my chest, burning a hole in my shirt as I watch the action.

Yep.. two I believe. Proton/Dempsey and the Gulf 991's are both running.

Toyota on provisional pole, but Porsche got 2nd.

GTE-Pro.. sorta shocked at AMR being on pole, but also how far back Corvette and Porsche are. They pegged the Corvette's back after the Test Day which I think may have been a bad move.
